Yep, here I am with more news about what happened to me. So, last week, The 2008 Engineering Industrial students enganged in 2010 PPIC Games. PPIC is an acronym for Production Planning and Inventory Control. So, through this game, we will learn what is exactly the reality behind PPIC in every industry.
In this game, the object is tamiya, so, we conduct our own strategies on how to create tamiya that will fulfill the demand from customers.
It's so much fun, and because we learn it by practicing it, the lesson is actually far more memorable than the theory in our books. Our team, along with 10 other teams, fulfill the lobby of Faculty of Engineering, UI on that day.
This is the battle of wits, of strategies, and we all can compete in determination, in endurance, just to see ourselves as the winner. So yeah, this is one hell of fun, and I won't trade this experiences for anything.
For your information, our Industrial Engineering department also open PPIC Games for Enterprises. If you are interested in PPIC, click here PPIC Games

Achievement, achievement
There are so many glorious moments in my life, both with my friends or on my own... I'm going to tell you my triumphant moment in high school.
I was attending Santa Ursula junior high school and Santa Ursula high school. It was on my first week as a student at Santa Ursula Junior high School that I found what would become my passion, Marching Band...
To tell you the truth, marching band is not an easy way for teenagers like us who had just graduated from elementary school. Having hard practices, combined with daily business as junior high school student definitely teach the girls about discipline and time management.
I joined Putri Santa Ursula Maching Brass, and since that day, I was honed to become a skillful music player using semi-military discipline that enable us to withstand everything that life throws at us...
Strict rules, firm coaches, assertive leader....under those three factors we were sharpened into tough girls. And then the time comes when we will face our first national competition, the Grand Prix Marching Band which is held annually.
The practices we did at that time were definitely crazy. Sole practice at home, joint practices at school, all of those were done to get the harmony of the song perfectly. In this competition, we were not only playing the music, but also create the display during the performance to create an attractive package. Just so you know, playing the music itself is hard, but playing the music while running and creating the display.... that's just insane. For a fact, those musical instrument that we use is not light. The smallest one is trumpet, which weight is 2kgs.
Now, imagine if you have to hold a 2-kg-weight for 15 minutes, playing the song, concentrating on your steps, and keep an eye for your surroundings... Exactly!! That is insane...
Therefore, to prepare us for those challenges, it's just natural for us to practice and increase our stamina... That's why all of us were familiar with running and push-up. That's just the way to get the stamina.
Thank goodness, all of us have strong will. We won't let anything hinder us in our path to glory. Under the pressure from surrounding, the tightness of semi-military discipline, we found our teamwork was getting stronger with each day. That's just another benefit from joining marching band. We all get used to work under pressure, loving challenge, having quick mind, agile, having strong stamina, able to work with everyone, and become tough on our own. Really, this experience brought out the best of you.
And so, in 2004, we gave our best, and we became 2nd champion in this competition. All those tears and blood were not useless, but become fruitful and we picked the result from our fighting. I can't imagine what will become of me in the future if I didn't get to experience this in my youth time. I can only imagine....And so, I'm grateful to God because He allowed me to experience this adrenaline-building experience. I can only say this to you "It's the BEST THING I've ever know in my youth"
Love you, PSUMB, forever and ever
best regards,
Anda

Nanananana.....You have stumbled upon my page
Hello and welcome, readers
This is Andalusia Martha, at your service.
I am an Industrial Engineering student at University of Indonesia. I am the first child and I have one brother. I love speaking, talking, and writing in English, and I tend to hone my skills through internet, be it newspaper, journal, blog, fanfiction, whatever... However, from time to time I will use my main language, Bahasa Indonesia. It depends on my mood, hehehe. So, don't get confused when you see me switching back and forth between English and Indonesia all over again... That's just me being insane, lol...
Anyway, on a heavier note, this blog is going to be another means to record my activities, my past experiences, and my opinion about life in itself. I am up for challenges, and love to do activities, be it physical, educational, and organizational..
But let me stress this point first. For me, life is a miracle from God. I have my own up and down, success and failure, happiness and sadness, but God never leave me alone. That in itself is the greatest gift I've ever received. Well, I'll share some of my experiences with you, so have a seat, take some popcorn, and enjoy the story of my life... I have my dreams and passions, and those are larger than life...
God Bless You...
best regards,
Andalusia
